Professionals working in Insurance or Finance often require Continuing Education credits to maintain their designation. Browse courses that meet your requirements, or choose one of our course packages, specially curated to advance your knowledge. The courses on continuingeducation.learnformula may be counted towards professionally relevant, verifiable learning activities. It is the student's responsibility to confirm that the courses they take are valid for credit in their jurisdiction.
Life and Accident & Sickness (A&S) insurance licensees in Saskatchewan must earn a minimum of 15 CE credits each annual reporting period (based on the licensee's individual licensing anniversary):
at least 10 of the 15 credits must relate to life or A&S insurance products
at least 3 credits must cover ethics
a maximum of 5 credits may relate to non-insurance financial planning (e.g. securities, mutual funds, segregated funds)
only technical courses qualify — sales, promotion, motivation and computer-training courses do not
1 hour of instruction = 1 CE credit; maximum 8 credits per day; no carry-forward between reporting periods
the licensee must successfully complete the course (assessment) to earn credit
Ethics credits count within the 15 (not on top). Licensees self-report CE annually and must keep certificates for at least 4 years for audit.
Finance & Insurance CE courses are built around relevant, verifiable content that can be applied toward LICS CE hours. As with any provider, it remains the member's responsibility to confirm an activity fits their own professional development needs before claiming it.
